As a volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club in Winston- Salem, I would help kids with their homework (August 2011-December 2011) As a tutor at Easton Elementary School in Winston-Salem, I would help kids with their homework (August 2010-May 2011). I was also a piano teacher all my years in middle school and high school. I want to be a tutor because I love to help kids learn and hope one day to become a professor. Tutors have also been a big part of my life. They are the reason I was able to get through my pre-med classes successfully in college. I want to be able to give back to students who need help in specific subjects.
