I am a ninth grader in Green Hope High School and have received consistent A's since the sixth grade. I have a 4.5 GPA taking difficult courses.
Experience
I have had pupils with a wide variety of ages, educational needs, and temperaments on an official and unofficial basis; anywhere from a ten year old reading complex new material to a sophomore having difficulty with Common Core mathematics. My motivation for being a tutor is tripartite; college tuition, the experience of helping, and my general love of learning. I have taken math courses up to Common Core II, or Algebra I Honors, and am completing high school English I Honors in January. All prerequisites for those courses, as well as those in social studies and science, I have completed and received high marks in. Hobbies
I am involved in a group of activities which form a cohesive theme of law, business, and overall academia. Currently, I am awaiting approval for "Law for Teens Club", a program I am founding at my local library. In my school, I am the secretary of Mock Trial Club, an active member in Speech and Debate Club, and a volunteer in the library. My ultimate interest lies in becoming a corporate attorney. I have some way to go, but that has been the plan for several years now. One of my most core beliefs is that the youth of today doesn't have to wait to start something. They should not restrain their hopes and dreams until an age prescribed by social norms to be acceptable of pursuing them. Start now!
