I am a professional Chemist offering tutoring services in Math and Science. I have tutored throughout high school and college. Additionally, I served as a Teaching Assistant for Introductory Chemistry while an undergraduate in college. My tutoring philosophy is based on ensuring that students have a strong understanding of concepts and fundamentals. This is achieved through interactive questioning, explanations that can be related to and asking the student to explain the concept in their own words. Once a student has an understanding of the basics, these skills can be applied to homework problems, exams and/or real world situations. I am happy to meet with students one-on-one or in a group setting during the evening or weekends. Meetings can take place either at the student's home or a mutually agreed upon location.
