I was diagnosed with a reading disability in high school and have worked diligently to learn effective strategies to compensate inside and outside the classroom. I strongly believe every student can succeed in school, but the structure of the education system requires that some students get additional help learning new concepts or developing strategies to adapt to the way school subjects are taught in order to succeed.
